Teat:
The rounded teat promotes tongue positioning and sucking technique similar to breastfeeding, as the round shape allows the sides of the tongue to lift and snuggle around the teat, just like they do during breastfeeding.
Shield:
The shield is round, lightweight and faces away from the sensitive, delicate skin around baby's mouth, ensuring minimal contact with the nose and mouth, which means less chance of moisture build-up from saliva that can cause rashes.
Regardless of teat size, the shield is always the same.
