Broncholiber Syrup it is an effective anti-viral defense, providing relief from cough and sputum, and also acting on pulmonary surfactant.
Broncoliber belongs to a group of medicines called expectorants. Broncoliber is used to facilitate the mucolytic action of antibacterial treatment of respiratory infections in the presence of bronchial hypersecretion.
Composition: Each ml of pediatric syrup contains 3 mg of ambroxol (as hydrochloride) as the active substance. List of excipients: Sucrose, Aspartame (E 951), Citric Acid Monohydrate, Methyl Parahydroxybenzoate (E 218), Pineapple Flavor, Propyl Parahydroxybenzoate (E 216), Glycerol, Sorbitol Solution 70%, Purified water.
How to use
Syrup should be taken at mealtime. The administration of syrups can be carried out with the aid of a teaspoon or the measuring cup, inside the package. If symptoms persist or worsen after 7 days of treatment, a doctor should be contacted.
The usual dose is:
- Children from 1 to 2 years: 5 ml, 2 times a day.
- Children from 2 to 6 years: 5 ml, 3 times a day.
- Children from 6 to 12 years: 10 ml, 2 to 3 times a day.
- Adults and children over 12 years: 20 ml, 2 times a day.
